The research room is in the Gould-Shaw House Museum, located at 215 N. Cloverdale Blvd. It is open by appointment only.

Research Request Form

All research requests must be in writing with a research request form filled out completely. For research requests by Museum personnel we ask for a donation of $10.00 per hour with a two-hour maximum per request. The Museum is open for personal research by appointment only Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Again, a donation is requested.

The museum members are proud of the amount and variety of subject matter found in the research materials. We are happy to extend this service of information to anyone who has interest in local history, bother personal and other. We ask that all materials be handled with care. We also ask that no book or item of research leave the facility, as many of these items are irreplaceable. However, if you would like a copy of any item (photograph, document, letter, etc.) we can provide this service either by copy machine or computer scan. Copy machine items: 10 cents per sheet

Computer scans: 10 cents per item for black and white; 25 cents per item for color We hope this accommodates your needs. Let us know how we can better aid your research. Thank you for visiting the museum and using our research center.
