Program
Are you looking for interesting and satisfying new experiences?
Do you have a love of history? Would you like to meet and work
with people who possess an amazing variety of experiences, skills
and talents? If so, join our volunteer team!
Volunteers are an essential part of the Cloverdale Historical
Society and the Gould-Shaw House Museum. Whether motivated by a
desire to improve our community or a personal interest in history,
volunteers are critical to the success of the museum and our organization.
Please take a few minutes to review the volunteer opportunities
currently available and consider giving a few hours of your time
towards the success of our mission to collect, honor, preserve
and share the local history of the Cloverdale area.

Do you like meeting new people and sharing historical information?
As a docent you will greet visitors and guide them through
the museum and garden. Orientation and training is scheduled
twice each year. We prefer a regular weekly commitment, however,
other schedules can be arranged.

Do you love exploring libraries and archives? We need several
volunteers to work in our Research Center answering questions
presented by the public and assistingwith genealogy research.
Flexible hours.

Assistant Gardener
|
Want to show off your horticulture skills? Our master gardener
needs help maintaining our Victorian Garden. Flexible hours.

| Program Developer |
Like to plan? We are looking for creative and dedicated
individuals to develop exciting educational programs for
our local schools and the public. Flexible hours.
|
| Accessions and Conservation Technician |
Do you enjoy examining historic objects? We need a team
to evaluate donations and maintain storage areas for the
Museum collection. This position also requires some record
keeping. Flexible hours.
